Man, 26, stabbed to death in central London
GoogleA 26-year-old man has been stabbed to death in central London.
The victim was found by police who had been called to Abbey Orchard Street, in Westminster, at around 22:15 GMT on Friday.
They provided first aid before the London Ambulance Service took him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are treating the death as murder and have informed the victim's next of kin.
Met Police Det Supt Dean Lanfear said: "My thoughts are with the victim's family and friends today as they process the loss of their loved one.
"At this early stage, no suspect has been arrested and we are keeping an open mind regarding the circumstances of the incident."
A special post-mortem examination will be held in due course, the Met said.
