New performing arts studio opens in former library
Victoria GoodallA performing arts studio has reopened in a former library.
The new ToriArts Studios opened in the former Madeley Library building in Telford on Saturday.
The space had been closed to the public ever since the previous dance company ceased trading in summer 2024.
Classes held at the new studios will include dance, singing, acting, acro, aerial hoop and aerial silks for students aged 18 months and above.
Victoria GoodallVictoria Goodall, co‑founder and creative director, said: "This building was created for movement, creativity, and performance.
"Seeing it closed was heartbreaking for the community. Reopening it as a thriving performing arts hub is incredibly exciting - we want every young person to feel welcome here."
Goodall turned her love for the arts into teaching and also runs ToriArts Studios in Wellington, which has up to 250 students.
