IMF: Oil prices and war could derail global growth

The BBC's Michelle Fleury spoke with Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, the chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, to find out how likely a global recession could be.

High oil prices and rising inflation and interest rates are key risks the IMF is warning of as war and soaring energy prices could hit the global economy.

The report comes as the IMF is holding its spring meeting in Washington DC.
