Lloyds bank reveals IT glitch affected almost half a million customers

In a letter to the Treasury Select Committee, Lloyds apologised and said some compensation had been paid.

Pensions Minister Torston Bell said those affected would receive compensation "where appropriate".

Rhonda Montgomery was scammed out of £17,000 by fraudsters pretending to work for Revolut.

The Lloyds Banking Group customers reported being able to view payments and charges from other sources.

The hub, operated by Cash Access UK, is located above Hedon library and has lift access.

According to Lloyds data, just under 700 people regularly use the branch in Crowborough town centre.
