Your guide to Easter holiday events across the Isle of Man
Manx National HeritageThe school holidays are upon us and parents may well be wondering what Easter-themed activities are on offer on the Isle of Man.
Manx schools are out for two weeks, with pupils set to return on 20 April.
From the traditional egg hunts, art workshops or guided walks inspired by Manx folklore and history, there's a lot to go at over the next two weeks.
So regardless of inclement seasonal weather, here's a taster of some fun activities to get your kids stuck into this Easter.
North
There are several free events taking place across the Easter break in the north of the island.
Kids can make their own Easter bonnet at The Grove Museum, Ramsey and decorate them with paper flowers, ribbons, feathers.
The workshop is suitable for all ages and will run on 4 April between 11:00 to 13:00 GMT. Admission is priced at £8 per child, whilst one accompanying adult goes free.
After their bonnets are made, head over to the The Pasture Studio at Ballakeenan Farm in Jurby.
There, kids can feed the orphan lambs, learn about how they are reared into adult sheep, plant their own potato and make and take home their own 'Pasture Pal', the Isle of Man's take on Build-a-Bear.
The event runs from 3 to 12 April, whilst groups of six go free.
West
Events running to the west of the island include an Easter egg hunt around the grounds of Peel Castle between 4 and 5 April.
Standard admission fees applies, whilst children and Manx National Heritage Pass Holders go free. No booking is required.
Kids have the chance to walk around the grounds of the 11th Century castle, which looks out towards the Irish Sea, collect 20 eggs and cash them in for a chocolate reward.
Manx ScenesOnce those eggs are collected, families can head over to the House of Mannanan in Peel to take part in their Art to Go workshop.
Prices starting at £10 for kids and they can design their own tote bag with felt shapes, buttons, sequins, ribbon, embroidery or yarn - all inspired by the artworks on show across the exhibition.
The workshop is linked to their family-friendly art exhibit Art Adventures for Beginners, which takes inspiration from modern and contemporary art from the island. This exhibit is free for all and runs until May.
It wouldn't be Easter without seeing some lambs, and from 3 to 11 April, families can experience up close what life is like on a farm.
Staged at Knockaloe Beg Farm, kids will have the chance to see lambs being born, before meeting some farm animals, feeding the chickens and riding a pony.
Tickets are £8 for adults, £6 children - with the event running from 10:00 to 17:00 GMT on the above dates.
East
Easter fun can be had at the Groudle Glen Railway, near Ochan where they are welcoming families aboard their train that winds them up through the glen.
The event, which runs 5 and 6 April between 10:00 and 16:30 GMT, promises some Easter-themed fun as kids peek out the train window ready to spot the Easter Bunny hopping across the cliff tops.
Tickets are £9.50 for adults and £8.99 for kids and includes complimentary tea, coffee and squash from their tea rooms.
Once the train ride is over, kids can take part in a free egg hunt - with dairy and non-dairy chocolate eggs available.
South
The Manx Family Concerts are staging a relaxed play of Beatrice Potter's well-loved novel Peter Rabbit, at the King's Court Theatre in Castletown.
Kids will follow Peter on his lively journey as he explores gardens and countryside, meets new friends, and discovers a few surprises along the way.
The hour-long showing will run on 3 April, across two time slots - the first starting at 13:00 and the second at 15:00 GMT.
At Cregneash, a traditional Easter egg rolling contest will take place on 6 April.
Contestants will decorate their own eggs before letting them off down the hill, with prizes on offer for the egg that gets there first, walking home as an undisputed egg rolling champion.
There are races for young and older children along with adults too.
