Multi-vehicle crash closes A47 in both directions

A multi-vehicle collision led to a major A-road being closed during rush hour.

Norfolk Police shut the A47 between the A1064 at Acle and the A149 near Great Yarmouth.

Officers said the collision had occurred shortly before 18:00 BST.

After being closed in both directions, National Highways posted on social media at 20:30 to say all lanes had reopened and there was no congestion in the area.
