Man charged over pram crash which injured three young children
BBCA 71-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a crash involving a pram and a trailer which left a baby and two toddlers in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the incident at about 15:15 on 13 October last year on Pleasance Avenue in Dumfries.
Three young children were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries and were later discharged.
A short police statement said the man had been reported to the procurator fiscal.
The road was closed in the area for several hours following the crash.
The three young children were initially taken to Dumfries Infirmary before being transferred to the Royal Children's Hospital in Glasgow where their condition was described as serious.
Police confirmed about 10 days later that they had all been discharged after receiving treatment.
