Three teenagers have been arrested after reports of bricks being thrown from a bridge over the M1 motorway.

Bedfordshire Police said it was alerted to a number of incidents close to junction 10 at Caddington, near Luton, on Monday and Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the force said a number of vehicles had been damaged.

The teenagers had since been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to endanger life and were taken into custody.
