Police were called to Cranham Drive on Monday afternoon

A woman has been seriously injured in a stabbing in Worcester.

West Mercia Police said officers were called to Cranham Drive, Warndon, at about 17:45 BST on Monday, following reports of disorder.

When they arrived, a woman had already been taken to hospital with stab wounds which were not deemed to be life-threatening.

The force said the suspects - two men and a woman - fled the scene, and appealed for information about the attack.

Det Sgt Andrew Todd said the force believed the incident was contained to those involved, and was working to locate the suspects.
