Two summoned to court after council fraud probe

Two people have been summoned to court after an investigation into allegations of fraud at Audlem Parish Council.

James McGregor, 37, of Audlem, faces a charge of fraud by abuse of position, Cheshire Police confirmed.

Olivia Payne, 31, also of Audlem, is accused of concealing criminal property, the force added.

They are both due to appear in court in Crewe next month.
