Cable works will see roads shut for weeks
GoogleWork on underground electricity cables, that will see roads in Wokingham and Barkham closed for weeks, is due to begin on Monday.
Wokingham Borough Council said Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks would be carrying out the work in Berkshire until 18 May.
As part of the first stage, it said the company's engineers would be undertaking investigative work on underground power connections.
Blagrove Lane, between Evendons Lane and Blagrove Drive, will be affected until 27 April.
Other work between 27 April and 5 May will affect Evendons Lane between Blagrove Lane and Nashgrove Lane.
Edneys Hill, between Nashgrove Lane and Footpath 33, will be affected from 5 May until 11 May.
Work will affect Edneys Hill, between Footpath 33 and Barkham Road, from 11 May to 18 May.
