A man has been charged after a car crashed into a pub in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Kent Police said officers were called to The Dolphin pub in Albion Street, Broadstairs, just before 02:00 BST.

On Sunday, Frank Finn, aged 18 and of High Street, Broadstairs, was charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and dangerous driving.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after leg and arm injuries were reported, said the force.
