Boy, 15, arrested over stabbing at McDonald's
GoogleA 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a stabbing at a McDonald's.
The victim, a teenage boy, was attacked at the fast-food outlet on Ventura Retail Park in Tamworth, shortly before 20:30 BST on Monday.
He was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his lower back, Staffordshire Police said, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The suspect, from Birmingham, was arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in custody while inquiries continue, a force spokesperson added.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed paramedics attended the scene and treated the injured boy for potentially serious injuries, before he was taken to hospital.
Police have urged anyone who might have witnessed the incident or have any information about what happened to get in touch.
