National Grid says the power cut on Sunday affected more than 600 properties.

Stop the Pylons Derbyshire said new pylons would "decimate" Derbyshire's landscape.

The plans are for 114 miles of pylons to be built through Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

One man calls the infrastructure "the wrong project, in the wrong place, at the wrong time".

A running group member says the lack of lights on some paths is particularly worrying in the winter.

Homes in the far north and south of the county are affected in separate incidents.

National Grid says the cause is an underground cable fault and it is working to restore power.
