Chinese tourist who died in village 'may have been in altercation'

Police initially said it was believed the man's death in Strathpeffer was a medical matter.

Data shows the notices were issued in Beauly, Dingwall and Fort William.

Another charity, Blythswood, had previously run the service for 20 years.

The Highland Council projects are in Inverness, Thurso, Dingwall, Beauly and Fortrose.

The service will be available to Dingwall Academy pupils who live in Alness and Evanton.

Saturday's Bright Burgh Trail event was the start of a series of events to take place this year.

The University of the Highlands and Islands says the college is relocating to Inverness.
