Under-threat pub's Dick Turpin claim debunked

Pub historian Dr James Wright said claims the pub dates to 1250 are also "probably untrue".

Officials say they have not ruled out taking enforcement action to improve the state of the pub.

Owners of the Sibson pub say they hope to refurbish and reopen the pub once a new tenant is secured.
