South Western Railway

Southern and South Western Railway say trains are not running between Epsom and Dorking currently.

Lines between Guildford/Petersfield and Havant and all routes through Dartford closed on 14 February.

The closure is part of engineering works taking place on the line over the school half-term break.

Upgrades will be made to Dartford Junction, the "busiest in Kent", during the nine day closure.

The train company ran Class 455 farewell tours in December, with tickets costing £45.

A number of works are taking place across the South East rail network, operators warn.

The incident between Winchester and Basingstoke caused disruption to services until about midday.
