Woman dies after being knocked down by lorry

A woman has died after being knocked down by a lorry in County Donegal.

Gardaí (Irish police) were alerted to a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry at the Station Roundabout, Port Road, Letterkenny on Friday.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She died on Sunday.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
