Developer given permission to build 161 new homes
Allison Homes EastA housing developer has been given planning permission to build 161 new homes.
Allison Homes Central will construct a mixture of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes at Priors Hall Park in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The area has a number of established facilities, including a primary school, business academy, shops and play areas.
Nigel Wakefield, development director at Urban&Civic, said the project would "deliver a high-quality mix of homes" and would "support the continued growth" of Corby.
Every home will come with solar panels and an electric car charging point and some houses will also have air‑source heat pumps to make them more energy efficient.
Thirteen properties will be available through Shared Ownership.
Once the work has been completed, there will be a total of 5,325 homes, two additional primary schools, sports pitches and further community infrastructure.
Georgina McCrae, planning director at Allison Homes Central, added: "Our development will ensure we create a diverse and thriving community where people can be proud to live for decades to come."
