Two children hit by van in Croxteth
Google MapsTwo children on bikes have been taken to hospital after a collision which also involved a van, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Altcross Road in Croxteth shortly after the collision, which happened at just before 16:35 BST on Tuesday, said Merseyside Police.
A force spokesperson said a 13-year-old boy suffered leg injuries while a 10-year-old boy was reportedly driven to hospital by his parent. No further details about the boys and their conditions have been released.
The driver of the white Vauxhall van stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. Police have asked anyone with further information or dashcam footage to contact them.
