Man arrested after single-vehicle crash

A man has been arrested after a single-vehicle crash on the A511 in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Leicestershire Police said officers were called to a stretch of road between the Smisby roundabout and the junction of Warner Road at 04:48GMT on Sunday.

One person from the vehicle was taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known, but the force said they were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst being unfit through drink or drugs.
