Murder probe launched after teenager stabbed

Police have launched a murder investigation after a teenager was stabbed.

Kent Police said it was called to Belmont Road, in Whitstable, just after 02:00 BST on Friday.

Paramedics also attended the scene, where a 19-year-old man had suffered injuries in a stabbing.

Police said he was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police have asked for anyone with any information, or footage, to contact them, or the charity Crimestoppers.
