A delivery rider who officers had to stop by force has been caught carrying multiple bags of cannabis on a moped in a food bag

Thames Valley Police said the "speedy delivery driver" was pursued by a police motorcycle in the Iffley area of Oxford on Sunday.

After he failed to stop for the officer an unmarked police car was used to box in and bring the moped to a halt.

The force said officers arrested the rider, after he tried to run away on foot, for dangerous driving and failing to stop. They then found bags of cannabis packed inside an insulated bag on the moped.
