Man charged with ABH after football match

A man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after a football match between Porthmadog FC and Trearddur Bay.

Thomas Taylor, 36, of Llanddona, on Anglesey, will appear in court in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, on 11 May, according to North Wales Police.

The alleged offence happened during a game on on 17 January.

Footage of the matter, at Y Traeth stadium, in Gwynedd, was widely shared on the internet.
