A man in his 50s has been arrested after a boy was stabbed in Birmingham.

Officers said they were called to Dunlop Way at 15:40 GMT on Friday over reports a teenager had been stabbed. It was thought he was attacked following an argument on a bus with another passenger, police said.

The boy was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The man was arrested at Chelmsley Wood bus station shortly after the incident and remained in custody on Saturday while enquiries continued.
