Murder arrest after woman, 60, found dead

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in Dover.

Police said the woman, who was aged 60, was found at an address in Khartoum Square, Whitfield, just after 15:00 BST on Sunday.

Despite being treated by paramedics she was declared dead at the scene.

The man who has been arrested is 32, local and was known to the woman, detectives said.
