Sky Blues parade route confirmed for celebrations

The route for Coventry City's celebratory bus parade has been announced as the team continue to enjoy their return to the Premier League.

Players and management will wave at fans from an open-top bus on the bank holiday on 4 May as the streets fill with a Sky Blue celebration.

After leaving the Coventry Building Society Arena, the parade will formally start at Holbrook Way, after its junction with Jimmy Hill Way - the road named after the team's former legendary manager.

Coventry City's owner Doug King is encouraging fans to line the route from Holbrook Way to Hearsall Common to wave the team through and celebrate.

"The players and staff will be travelling in the heart of the community to celebrate, and we encourage fans and the people of our city to join them on the public route," he said.

The entire city is then invited to attend a festival at the War Memorial Park from 13:00 to 19:00 BST, set to include a mix of local music and entertainment.

The parade route will go to Holbrook Lane before heading left on Parkgate Road and down Beake Avenue.

The bus will head through Bruce Road, joining Wallace Road and continue along Norman Place Road.

Fans can follow the players through Hollyfast Road and Westhill Road before it heads down Barkers Butts Lane, turning right to join Moseley Avenue.

After crossing Holyhead Road, the parade route will go along Four Pounds Avenue and Queensland Avenue.

From here, the public section of the parade reaches its conclusion when it arrives at Hearsall Common.

The players and staff will then travel to the War Memorial Park to continue the celebrations at 16:00.

"This isn't just a parade — it's a moment for the entire city to come together, share the pride, and celebrate what we've achieved as one," a spokesperson for the club said.
