A man charged with murder after the death of another man at the weekend has made his first court appearance.

Richard Woolley, 58, of Garratts Green Lane in Birmingham, was charged on Monday after a man was found dead at a property in Eagle Close in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, on Saturday.

Woolley did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning.

His next court appearance will be on Thursday at Bristol Crown Court.
