Derbyshire Fire and Rescue ServiceA fire at a house in Allestree was most likely to have been caused by a tumble dryer, investigators have said.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to Riddings following a 999 call at 00:19 GMT on Friday.
All occupants had left the house and there were no injuries, the service added.
Three hose reel jets and one main jet were used to put the fire out, and the cause was ruled to be accidental.
