Bike Night saved from cancellation
BBCAn annual motorcycle meet which was under threat has been saved after a new committee was formed to run it.
In February, it was announced Barton Bike Night, which attracts about 10,000 people to Barton upon Humber, would be cancelled due to a lack of volunteers as well as committee members stepping down.
New committee chair Pete Storey said he had worked with the town council and new members to bring the event back and it would take place on 1 July.
Storey said there was a "quite a big outcry" when the event was cancelled, but "everyone seems to be buzzing" about its return.
He added: "It's such a big event for Barton upon Humber so I think that's why so many people came forward when they thought it was at risk of disappearing."

Storey described the event, which has been held since 1997, as "no mean feat" and said this year's event may be slightly pared down compared to previous events as the committee only has 14 weeks to organise it.
He said: "It takes a lot of hard work, a lot of preparation, to put it on.
"We're excited. We're looking forward to it. We're relishing taking on this challenge.
"But there's a bit of trepidation too. We don't really know what we're doing. Yesterday I was Googling what a section 50 road traffic closure is."
The organisers still need volunteers to help marshal traffic on the night, and appealed for anyone who is interested to get in touch.
Storey added: "We really need the local community and the biker community to get behind it and support us."
