Man dies after being found injured on road

A man has died after being found lying on a Birmingham road with serious injuries.

West Midlands Police said the 27-year-old, whom it has not named, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers were called to Mott Street just after 00:30 BST on Monday.

The force said an investigation was under way to find out what happened. It has not shared details of the injuries.

Police appealed for people with dashcam or CCTV footage, as well as anyone who was in the area between midnight and 01:00, to make contact.
