Lucky ducklings picked up from motorway
Oxfordshire Wildlife RescueTen lucky ducklings were saved on the M4 in Berkshire after highways officers rounded them up and took them to an animal charity.
They were spotted between junctions 10 (Winnersh Interchange) and 11 (Three Mile Cross Interchange) by the National Highways traffic officers on 30 March but their mother was not with them.
They were transported to Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue in Blewbury, near Didcot, where they were taken to its bird nursery.
The charity said they will be looked after by its volunteers.
