TikTok litter picker completes viral quest
BBC"I was walking my dog, there was broken glass everywhere so I would pick him up and it got to a point where I was basically carrying him the whole walk."
That was when Amelia Prior decided to clean up areas around her home in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
"I came out and I started just using a dustpan and brush and picking it up all the way, then once I did the glass I thought I might as well grab bits and bobs," she said.
She has now been clearing up for a year, and completed a month-long challenge in March which has caught the attention of others on social media.

During the task, she collected just under 500 bags of litter across 31 days in March.
Prior amassed over 30,000 views on Tik Tok and other social media platforms as people followed her her litter-picking adventures.
The 21-year-old hopes that by documenting her work, it will help to "normalise" clean-ups and encourage more people to do something similar, despite some comical responses to her activities.
"I must admit, one of my first days I did get asked if I was on community service."
"In fairness when I started, I did wear a boiler suit and it did look like I was on prison break. Hopefully people will feel less weird about doing it themselves."
