Post Office closes after manager retires

A community will no longer have a Post Office after the postmaster retired.

The Post Office on Church Square, Bures, in Suffolk near the Essex border, closed earlier on Tuesday.

A Post Office spokesperson said: "We are currently investigating the options available which may enable us to reinstate a Post Office service to the local community."

People can use the Wakes Colne Post Office which is four miles away in Essex, they added.
