Motorcyclist dies after crash with van

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a van and a motorcycle on North Holme Road, Louth, at about 13:45 GMT on Tuesday.

Lincolnshire Police said the 48-year-old man who died was from the Horncastle area.

The road was expected to remain closed until about 20:00 GMT, the force added.

Witnesses are asked to contact police.
