Serious crash closes A9 in both directions near Blair Atholl

A serious two-vehicle collision forced the closure of the A9 in both directions in Highland Perthshire.

Police said the road was shut between Blair Atholl and the House of Bruar.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 13:40.

Traffic Scotland said the road reopened shortly after 17:30.

There is currently no information on the condition of the occupants of the vehicles.
