A vehicle fire outside the Isle of Man's largest hospital led to the temporary closure of its main entrance.

Manx Care said the incident outside Noble's Hospital, in Braddan, at 08:30 BST had been "safely resolved" and nobody had been hurt.

Patients, staff and visitors were told to use alternative entrances for about an hour before the main entrance was reopened to pedestrians.

Drivers have been told not to stop outside the entrance, however, while a one-way system remains in place in the area.
