A-road shut after collision between lorry and car

Part of the A16 near Peterborough has been closed following a collision between a lorry and a car.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was called to the incident between Newborough and Crowland just before 08:30 BST.

A spokesman said: "The emergency services are working at the scene and the road remains closed."

In a post on social media, Policing Peterborough advised drivers to use an alternative route.
