A man in his 90s has died a month after being injured in a car crash in Canterbury, according to police.

Kent Police said it was called at 17:45 GMT on 23 February to a collision between the elderly pedestrian and a white Vauxhall Viva on Sturry Road, near Kingsmead Road.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with multiple injuries after the incident, the force said, and died as a result on 24 March.

Police arrested a 73-year-old man at the scene, who was later bailed, and asked any witnesses or people with relevant footage to contact them.
