Drivers warned of 90-minute delays at Eurotunnel
Andrew Marshall/BBCDrivers on the M20 approaching the Eurotunnel have been told to expect delays of about 90 minutes longer than expected.
National Highways said traffic began to build at about 09:00 BST on Friday and the coast-bound junction 11 entry slip near Hythe had been closed to help ease congestion.
Kent Police has sent a unit to the area to help manage the traffic and Operation Brock is active.
National Highways urged drivers to allow extra time for their journeys as there were two miles (3.2km) of congestion.
Operation Brock involves setting up a contraflow system on the M20 coast-bound, between junctions eight and nine, so that one side of the carriageway can become a giant lorry park if there are problems at the Port of Dover or Eurotunnel.
Kent and Medway Resilience Forum said the barrier was planned to be removed overnight on 7 April, with the motorway reopening as normal on 8 April.
