Man dies after single-vehicle crash on country road

Essex Police said officers were called to a road near Southminster early in the morning following reports of a crash

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash on a country road.

Essex Police was called to Keelings Road near Southminster at 06:50 BST to reports of a crash.

Officers and paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Specialist officers are appealing for anyone who saw a black Ford Prefect in the area.
