Two men arrested after woman dies in two-car crash
GoogleTwo men are under arrest in hospital after they were injured in a two-car collision in which a woman was killed.
The Met Police said the woman, who was in her 30s, was a passenger in one of the vehicles that crashed in east London and she died at the scene.
The collision happened at about 03:30 BST on Sunday at the junction of Commercial Road and East India Dock in Limehouse.
The two men, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, police have said. Both remain in hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.
Sgt John Dale, from the Met's Road Policing Unit, said: "As we try to build up a full picture of the incident, we are appealing to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it - particularly if they have CCTV or dash-cam footage."
He added: "Our thoughts remain with the victim's family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
