Man pleads guilty to manufacturing 3D-printed gun
National Crime AgencyA man has pleaded guilty to multiple firearms offences after being caught buying almost 40 hand guns and more than 1,000 bullets.
Luke Fortune, from Longwell Green, was arrested in January after police found a Glock-style pistol and a revolver hidden in a bush in the Bristol suburb.
During a hearing at Bristol Crown Court earlier, the 22-year-old pleaded guilty to all eight charges, including the manufacture of a 3D-printed sub-machine gun.
He will next appear for sentencing at the same court on 7 July.
Fortune faces two counts of possessing firearms, two counts of possessing ammunition, and one count of converting a firearm.
He was also charged with one count of manufacturing a firearm, one count of selling firearms and one count of conspiracy to import firearms.
The National Crime Agency said officers previously arrested Fortune in July 2024 after he allegedly bought three antique firearms and 35 top venting blank firearms - a realistic-looking type of pistol with blocked barrels.
They are illegal due to their easy conversion into lethal firearms, a spokesperson added.
He was further arrested by Avon and Somerset Police in January after officers uncovered the stashed weapons.
