An 11-year-old cyclist has died following a collision involving a bus and a car in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said the boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the crash in Nottingham Road at about 18:45 BST on Friday, where he later died.

No arrests have been made, said the force, which is appealing for witnesses.

It added the boy's family are being supported by specialist officers.
