Two teens arrested after double alleyway stabbing

Two teenagers have been arrested after two boys were stabbed in an alleyway.

The 17-year-old boys reported being attacked by two males in balaclavas last Thursday, at about 22:00 GMT.

Sussex Police said the attack happened in an alley between Hampton Way and Kent Road, in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Both boys were treated in hospital.

The force said earlier an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy had been arrested and bailed.

The man was held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a class B drug, while the boy was detained on suspicion of two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, and possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

Both suspects have been bailed, pending further inquiries.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
