A man has been charged after a shot was fired outside a property in Glen Parva.

Officers were called to Hewes Close at about 20:40 GMT on 6 March, Leicestershire Police said. No injuries were reported.

Aaron Flusk, 25, of The Crescent in Whistan, Merseyside, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Flusk is due to appear at Leicester Crown Court in May.

Two men, 24 and 26, and a 51-year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and have since been released on bail.

Five men aged between 44 and 20, and a 21-year-old woman, who were also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, currently remain in police custody.

Police have asked for anyone with information to come forward.
