Comedian Paul Foot will be part of the line up for the 2026 Northampton Comedy Festival

Comedians Paul Foot, Lucy Porter, and Paul Sinha are among the performers taking part in an upcoming festival.

The Northampton Comedy Festival will host more than 50 acts across multiple venues in the town, including the Albion Brewery, Cheyne Walk Club, and, for the first time, Sixfields Stadium.

It will run from 24 May until 30 July.

Mike Chase, the director of the Comedy Crate, which organised the festival, said Northampton is getting a "really positive reputation" on the comedy circuit.

Two all-day events will take place on 6 June and 18 July, featuring 15 acts across stages at The Charles Bradlaugh, The Lamplighter and The Black Prince, with comedians using the festival to prepare for the Edinburgh Fringe.

Mark Mullen, operations manager of Northampton Town Centre Business Improvement District, said: "This is an opportunity to see big names in intimate venues as they prepare their material for shows on the nation's biggest stage.

"We've seen big crowds pack out across the town centre and we're looking forward to Northampton coming together once more to have a laugh and a cracking night out."
