A woman arrested on suspicion of murdering a man will face no further action with police confirming they are no longer treating the death as suspicious.

The 57-year-old woman had been taken into custody when officers were called to a property at Church Road in Stockton, on Teesside, on 31 March.

She was later released on conditional bail.

A cordon had been put up at the scene on the day of the death and Cleveland Police had appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
