Drivers have been warned of delays along a major road in Cumbria after a wall collapsed.

One lane of a section of the A6, south of Shap summit, has been closed, with two-way traffic lights in place, Westmorland and Furness Council said.

The authority warned there could be disruption for drivers using that part of the road.

Council officers said investigations had started to prevent the wall collapsing further and to fix it.
