Altrincham made it back-to-back wins in the National League with a 2-0 victory over bottom side Truro.

The Robins were given an early let-off when Freddie Issaka's sixth-minute drive crashed against the foot of a post.

They took full advantage by powering ahead in the 27th minute when Anthony Forde's free-kick fell nicely for Declan Howe to finish from a tight angle.

Liam Humbles then added a second three minutes before the interval with a shot from the edge of the box, which curled beyond Truro goalkeeper Aidan Stone into the top corner.

The Tinners had chances to claw their way back in the second half but home keeper Luke Hutchinson twice denied Dominic Johnson-Fisher as Truro remain without a win in all competitions since February 7.
